"I'd give you my empire, all my wealth and glory, just to steal a fleeting smile from you... my love."
-King Wu

In my life, the most coveted prize is a smile from someone I know. Because from that simple facial gesture, I feel that there is a bond between us. At that moment in time, we are no longer strangers.

The lines at the corner of your eyes lay testament to your happy life. It shows your generosity in showering the people around you with your precious smile. In giving you shall receive, and I know you have led a wonderful life because of that.

When I look into your eyes, peering through the lenses of my camera, I see a sparkle of light shining within them. It is at this moment, I'll press the shutter to seal the joy emulating from within you onto paper. What is precious is not the photo itself, but rather, it is the flood of happy memories that fill me when I see your smiling eyes.

Thank you for your precious gift, no words can describe the bliss that you've bestowed unto me. Although there is no price attached to it, it remains the most valued gift that one could give. It is a natural language understood by all, and I hope that we will all communicate with it more often in our lifetime.

            Stay happy always.
